1) Traveling via Vancouver and the BC mainland?

See the schedule of BC Ferries' Vancouver (mainland) departures from  Tsawassen to Long Harbour

From the ferry terminal in Tsawwassen there is a direct holiday-season ferry to Long Harbour on Salt Spring Island. (At other times of the year, it stops off at one or two other islands on the way.) The ferry ride is a beautiful and memorable experience. Watch out for possible seals and whales.

It is recommended you make a reservations on this ferry especially on long weekends or in the summer. Long Harbour is about 15 minutes from Lakeside Gardens.

2) Traveling via Victoria on Vancouver Island?
See BC Ferries' Swartz Bay Departures to Fulford Harbour.

This direct route from Victoria also acts a alternate route for guests travelling from Vancouver. Because ferries sail frequently from Vancouver's Tsawwassen terminal to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island you can easily connect through to Fulford Harbour on the south end of Salt Spring.

At the Vancouver/Tsawwassen ticket booth, be sure you ask for a “THROUGH-FARE” ticket to Saltspring Island . (It is cheaper this way!)

The Swartz Bay to Fulford Harbour ferry takes 35 minutes and leaves every 2 hours on the odd hour enabling perfect connections to Salt Spring.  From Fulford Harbour, you'll have a 25 minutes drive to Lakeside Gardens.

From Fulford Harbour ferry terminal to Lakeside Gardens Resort:
Take the main road - Fulford-Ganges Road - to the village of Ganges. In the middle of Ganges, the main road makes a large, left turn. It then becomes Lower Ganges Road. Continue north (about 7 or 8 minutes) to Lakeside Gardens. You'll see signs for other accommodation on the way. Lakeside Gardens has a large sign on your left.

3) Traveling via Duncan or Nanaimo on Vancouver Island (leaving from Crofton)?
